Port Orange based guitarist/vocalist Kane Miller has been performing professionally for nearly 40 years. Having a musical background consisting of such varied influences as Choral Music, Blues, Jam Bands, Folk, Rock, and even Barbershop quartet singing, he brings a diverse perspective to music.
After cutting his musical teeth playing in rock, blues, and country bands in southern Arizona, he studied music at Northern Arizona University. Since relocating to Florida in the mid 1980's, he has performed in the Miami, Tampa, Orlando, and Daytona areas.
Kane has appeared onstage with such notable musicians as Robben Ford, Sonny Landreth, Steve Kimock, Bill Kirchen, and the late Dan Toler.
He currently performs in whatever format is appropriate to the setting and the client, whether solo, duet, trio, or full band. Besides his independent ventures, he is also the frontman for Tiki Syndicate, a New Smyrna Beach based surf/rock band.
"I have been very fortunate to have many top notch musical mentors and collaborators in my life", he remarks. "Outstanding musicians have been exceedingly generous with me, sharing freely of both their time and knowledge. For that I am supremely grateful, and hope to pass on some of the joy that has been given to me with audiences and fellow musicians. There's nothing like the feeling one gets during a performance when everything is clicking, and the groove takes on a life of its own."
